Heartland Youth Choir, founded by Barbara Sletto in 2003, provides a performance-based program for youth, emphasizing musical literacy and character development. Heartland Youth Choir provides a unique opportunity for children of diverse backgrounds with a particular aptitude in vocal music to explore that interest beyond their school setting. Quality literature from all styles and periods form the foundation for this exploration.

Hey Kids in Grades K-2 Summer Tunes Camp is for You!
We all know how children that have completed grades K-2 like to sing also. We have a camp for you, its called Summer Tunes it runs from August 5th through August 9th, 9:00 am to 11:30 am at Faith Lutheran Church. Heartland Youth Choir has activities like full choir rehearsal, musicianship training, folk games and movement activities. Deadline to Register for Camp Has Been Extended to July 1st
Summer Songs is a great camp for kids in grades 3rd-8th. Summer Songs camp runs from August 4th- August 9th, 2013. Summer Songs teaches Full choir rehearsals, musicianship training, musical theater, sectional rehearsals, movement activities. We have fun at camp by having excursions out to some local activities that include roller skating, a talent show, The Science Center, The Iowa State Fair, and a water park. We wrap up this fun filled week with a concert at The Iowa State Fair on Thursday and on Friday we have another concert at Faith Lutheran Church at 7pm.
