Nicole Hopkey, Associate Music Director

Nicole Hopkey is in her seventh year of teaching elementary music and has taught in both the Twin Cities in Minnesota and in the Des Moines metro area.  She earned her Bachelor’s of Music Education from the University of Northern Iowa, and anticipates graduating in December 2026 with a Master’s in Music Education from the University of St. Thomas.

Nicole is fully certified in Orff-Schulwerk and holds certifications in Kodaly Levels I and II as well as Conversational Solfege.  Music has been an inspiration and passion in her life, and she wants to share that passion with others.

In her free time, Nicole enjoys reading, cuddling with her dogs Dobby and Chewbacca, drinking coffee, and spending time with family and friends.
