Volunteer with HYC
It Takes a Community
Behind every HYC rehearsal, concert, tour, and special event is a community of people who pitch in to make it happen.
Volunteering with Heartland Youth Choir is about more than checking a box on a sign-up sheet. It's a chance to meet other HYC families, support our singers, and help make the choir experience welcoming, organized, and accessible for everyone.
You don't have to be a choir expert. You don't have to volunteer every week. And you don't have to have a lot of time.
Whether you can give us 30 minutes at a concert or want to become a regular part of our volunteer community, there's a place for you here.

Volunteering Can Be a Family Activity
HYC is a family community, and volunteering doesn't always have to mean leaving the kids at home.
Whenever possible, we'll offer family-friendly and age-appropriate volunteer opportunities so singers and siblings can participate alongside their families.
Some opportunities may be a great fit for younger volunteers, while others may require an adult. We'll let you know what to expect when you sign up.
Bring your singer. Bring a sibling. Bring a friend. Come be part of the HYC community.
Can't Volunteer Right Now?
That's okay! There are lots of ways to support HYC, and they don't all require money or a big time commitment.
Share HYC
Share a post, invite a friend to a concert, or tell another family about HYC.
Make a Connection
Refer a prospective family, introduce us to a potential sponsor, or connect HYC with a community organization.
Spread the Word
Help us share upcoming concerts, camps, events, and opportunities with your community.
Make a Donation
Every gift helps HYC provide meaningful music education and experiences for young singers.
There are lots of ways to be part of HYC. Give your time, share your connections, spread the word, or simply cheer our singers on. It all matters.
