Sat. April 11 - Meet the Composer

This is our annual choral festival, this year hosting composer, ANDY BECK! Cantemus will have a 30min clinic in the morning, downtime, and provided lunch. Afternoon will consist of mass choir rehearsal and performance.

Where: Plymouth Church, 4126 Ingersoll Avenue, Des Moines, IA 50312

When: Sat. April 11 - Call Time 8:45am, CONCERT @ 4:00pm, pick up appx. 5:15pm

Wearing: Informal (HYC t-shirts), bring Formal Uniform (all black) to change into for concert

Family and friends are invited to attend the 4:00pm concert!

Volunteer Sign-Up for Saturday, April 11

Parents are encouraged to sign up and volunteer to help out at Day 2/April 11 of Meet the Composer with the younger choirs.

DSM Symphony - April 17-19

It is such an honor to be asked to sing with the DSM Symphony again! We will be featured on 2 pieces in the masterworks series this spring.

When:

Friday 17th - Dress rehearsal call time 6:30pm (with symphony at 7:00) - pick up around 7:30-7:45 (we won't know until we get closer, and it COULD be as late as 9:30pm)

Saturday 18th - Dress rehearsal call time 9:30am (scheduled 10a-12:30pm, but done around 11). THEN, they'll come back at appx. 6:30pm for the 7:30 performance. Appx. pick up 9:30pm

Sunday 19th - Performance, call time appx. 1:30pm for the 2:30 performance. Appx pick up 4:30pm

Where: Civic Center of Greater Des Moines

Wearing: Street Clothes for Dress Rehearsals. Formal uniform for performance
